HTC Sensation Announcement

HTC announced today the HTC Sensensation and as Alan predicted it is their most powerful phone yet. Sporting a 4.3-inch qHD screen and a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor its already an exciting phone. Running Android 2.3 with their new Sense UI, bringing with it their new Active Lockscreen, boasting a much richer internet experience as well as Instant Capture Camera. With some impressive specs there is still the contoured screen design and premium aluminium finished body to add to what already is a must have phone for any Android user. So far no price details but I would imagine they will stick with the standard pricing for HTC’s new phones.

HTC Sensation Specifications:

  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread / New Sense UI
  • 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
  • 4.3-inch qHD Screen  (Resolution at 960×540)
  • 8 MP rear-facing camera (1080p recording) / 1.2 MP front-facing camera
  • WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
  • Bluetooth 3.0
  • 3.5 mm stereo audio jack
  • Support for mobile high-definition video link (MHL) for USB or HDMI connection
  • 1GB Internal Storage / 768 RAM

Other specs have been floating around about Gorilla Glass and 4GB internal memory, so far these are the official released details so everything else I would take at speculation. I’ve been reading and hearing different things, sure we will be hearing more on the Sensation soon enough.
